Biography
Wynonna Judd was born Christina Her Claire Her Siminella on May 30, 1964, in Ashland, Kentucky. Her mother is singer Naomi Judd. She was given the surname Siminella after Michael Siminella, whom her mother soon married after being abandoned by her late boyfriend and Judd’s biological father, Charles Jordan, in 2000.
Her sister is actress Ashley Judd. The family proceed to Los Angeles in 1968, but Naomi and Michael divorced in 1972. In 1976, Wynonna and Naomi lived in Kentucky. Wynonna was motivated by the country music her mother used to play, and after she got a guitar for Christmas, she learned to play the guitar.
Personal Life
Judd married Arch Kelly III in 1996. In December 1994, her son Elijah Judd was born. Having an illegitimate child during this time affected her career, as her fan base was largely conservative. Her second husband was her D.R. Roach, whom she married in November 2003. In 2007, Roach was arrested for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.
Five days later, she filed for her divorce. Judd married her longtime boyfriend, Highway 101 drummer Cactus Moser, on June 10, 2012, at her home in Leipers, Tennessee. Two months later, Moser was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota, requiring his left leg to be amputated.

Judd provided the voice of Molly Cure in the animated Magic School His Bus. She appeared on Blue’s Clues in 1999. Judd appeared as a guest singer on the fifth season of “Touched by an Angel.” In 2005, she made a guest appearance on Hope & Faith.
